Where is where?
Modern technology today makes navigation easier for everyone. As a result, people may be desensitised to their own environment. While one can physically bring themselves from one place to another, identifying it withot guide of surrounding landmarks and hints is yet another question.
My mapping project wishes to investigate people's relationship to their own place. To do so I will conduct a mapping project at which I will assign students as cartographers of their own city. This exercise is to investigate and challenge their ability to identify landmarks with Auckland.
